Most of the questionable area of the basement walls is on the side of the house, which in this photo is if you go around the left corner (that's the south side of the house).

The PVC carries water from the gutter system away from the house.
The grade is away from the house generally, EXCEPT the first couple of feet closest to the foundation, there IS a Reverse Grade.
